Aikido of Cincinnati is sharing the mat with the Doshinkai Dojo. Doshinkai Dojo offers classes for youth, teen, and adults to train in the art of Shotokan Karate.

DOSHINKAI means ‘The Way of Body, Mind, and Spirit’.

The name was given to the dojo by the founder of the organization, Hirokazu Kanazawa, Soke. The name exemplifies the philosophy and teachings of SKIF. The word ‘DOJO’ means ‘the place where the Way is taught and learned’.

  • The body is taught stamina, coordination, strength, agility,
  • The mind is taught concentration, memory,
  • The spirit is taught perseverance, humility, and self-confidence.

Doshinkai Dojo is affiliated with Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation-United States of America (SKIF-USA) and the Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation (SKIF) based in Japan, one of the world’s largest traditional karate organizations with over 2 million members in more than 130 countries.

Classes are offered for youth, teens, and adults Wednesdays, Saturday, and Sunday.
